Colorado Mediators & Arbitrators™

OUR SERVICES

At Colorado Mediators and Arbitrators, we are proud to offer both mediation and arbitration. We are equipped to handle all of your disputes including divorce, child custody, contracts, businesses, and civil issues.

Mediation (voluntary settlement through negotiated agreement):   Mediation effectively resolves a majority of legal disputes outside of court with terms that the parties can accept.  The parties participate in a guided negotiation in order to craft a specific settlement. The Mediator assists the parties by skillfully generating options for settlement. The best options, whether offered by the parties or mediator, are developed and written into a Memorandum of Understanding, aka MOU, signed by the parties, submitted to the court for adoption as court order,  and thereby enforceable. Resolving legal disputes offers relief from a legal battle’s stress, expense, and uncertainty. Colorado Mediators & Arbitrators™ settles approximately 85 – 90% of mediation cases.

Arbitration (private judge issues a decision.)Colorado Mediators & Arbitrators resolve civil disputes in business and real estate matters that fall under the jurisdiction of the Federal Arbitration Act or Colorado Revised Uniform Arbitration Act

Domestic Arbitration under C.R.S. 14-10-128.5With the consent of all parties, the court may appoint an arbitrator to resolve disputes related to the parties’ children, including parenting time, child support, and decision-making or other non-criminal matters. The privacy and confidentiality of domestic arbitration promotes family dignity and protects reputations and relationships. Our pro se clients have successfully presented their testimony and evidence in a less intimidating matter.
